Vault access, help please. Empty Vault access, help please.

Im at a loss, I've looked online but can find an answer. I'm lvl 92 and im trying to access the vault. When I enter it says I need 1 treasure map and 300 energy. I have a dozen treasure maps and more than 300 energy but all I get is a message stating "not enough of req. Item". What am I missing or doing wrong?
