Fortification Preparation
So, you've decided that you want to level up a hero, eh? Well, what should I do to get the most for my gold? It's a question that seems to plague the chat on every server. I hope this thread will answer all the questions you may have.
Monster chest discussion
A level 1 monster chest provides 500 exp without a bonus. Which, at a low level that's amazing. But, as you level up you learn very quickly that 500 is a drop in the bucket, and eventually.. the ocean. You may recall fortifying a hero with your first king chest. Holy ****, 3000 (6450 if it was max level) exp? Where can I get more!?!?
Well, simply, !!!do NOT!!! fortify level 1 monster chests into your hero! Use these to level a Lv 1 King chest to level 10. It takes a maximum of 6 monster chests to do so. And the savings are huge. I personally would have over 25 million more gold if I would have realized this sooner.
Now you may wonder if you lose any exp in this process. Using data from the research thread it is obvious that the above process is more than twice as efficient exp wise and nearly 10 times as efficient cost wise.
Pearl discussion
Seeing that most of the details were covered in the above section this will be short and sweet.
It takes 2 small pearls to max 1 Big Pearl. exp wise, this process is nearly 10 times as efficient, and I'd guess roughly 40 times as cost efficient (do not quote this number :3)
Overall
Use monster chests to level up king chests to max then use those to fortify
Use small pearls to max out big pearls then use those to fortify

Re: Fortification Preparation
Also worth mentioning, If you do not have the small chest monsters to fortify with, you can equip those king chests and do Dungeons to level them. Lost City 1 will max a chest in 3 successful attempts.

Well, I don't think it will happen often that you will have more King than chests to fill them, so probably useless, on the other hand, might be a good thing to do with the normal ones, almost 3x exp for the same amount of money.
The fact that you can now buy Max lvl chests from the shop changes a lot on things in lvluping too

Re: Fortification Preparation
Early Game I quite often found myself with more kings then normal's, so it was very useful. So for New Player's it is still useful too know, alternate methods of leveling chests.
Re: Fortification Preparation
I often pondered this but never really got around to trying it. Great info, thanks Koors.

Well... If you are at Lost City 1, and can manage to pass it with one less team member to make spot for chest, you aren't really in early game in my opinion, but I still get your point, can also be done in lower dungeons with a couple more tries.TenderBud wrote:Early Game I quite often found myself with more kings then normal's, so it was very useful.
