Here's what's brand new:

Once the patch is live, I'll update this post to include some details on the new features!


Woohoo! 1.7 is live!

There have been a lot of things added with this new update, I think even moreso than with 1.6. Let's start with the feature list above.

Cross Server Matches
The cross server matches can be found in the arena under a new tab. The description states: "Players can try to find a match everyday. A match costs 100 Awesome Tokens. Click Match to find your opponent. Ranking tournament has 3 tiers, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Top players for these tournaments will get a chance to join cross server tournament."

Unfortunately, not much else is known about this feature, as it doesn't seem to be working just yet. At least, when I try to enter, it tells me "Connection Issues," and I've seen in WC many others say the same thing. Once it's fixed, I'll update to give more information.

Brand New Heroes
There are LOTS of new heroes added, including Serenity 1.7 and Nezumi, both available in the Courage Market, and Mystery Man, for which a special giveaway event is underway.

With the giveaway, pieces of Mystery Man can be obtained by refilling diamonds up to 10,000 diamonds, logging in daily for the next seven (7) days, and running Tower up to 800 times. The nice thing is you don't need to refill to obtain pieces, as you can earn enough pieces for one Mystery Man by login and Tower together. Also, he is available in Supreme Summon and has been summoned by many people on Jamel server. One of my guildmates even summoned an awakened Mystery Man. The downside is that even though he requires 20 pieces to be completed,he is actually a 5* hero, despite traditional 5*s requiring only 15 pieces to complete. Mystery Man is a mage, and his stats base stats are: HP 2160, ATK 470, DEF 360, CRIT 470. His Telepathy crit skill attacks an enemy and boosts crit for three (3) turns, and he has a Crit Boost leader skill.

Totem System
The totem system is an interesting feature that introduces talismans of different abilities to aid you in battle. Everyone initially starts out with a Merman totem, which attributes boosts in HP, ATK, CRIT, and DEF, as well as a skill that attacks all enemies and reduces their armor by 22%. Totems have the same lives as hero crits, starting out at 100%, then building up 50% each round after its use dispenses its life. New soul stones (the blue ones) found in the shop for 80,000 gold or obtained from dungeons are used to level up totems, and super soul stones (the brown ones) are used to evolve them. There are three other totems that can be unlocked at this moment, with more "coming soon." To unlock a new totem, it seems you must tier up your first totem to Tier 9, lvl 90, and it costs 20 totem stones to do so.

Daily missions
Daily missions are new tasks, like fortify heroes x10, power up x10, et cetera, to be done for points. Accumulating certain numbers of points earns you different rewards, like gold and gems.

Also added are guild tasks, tasks set in the same manner that reward you with various amounts of gold, EXP and guild stars.

Other new functions that were not included in the above list:


  • Stop after tower task and stop after encountering your own boss have now been added to Auto Tower.
  • Auto x10 labyrinth
  • Chapter 3 added to Hero's Gate (g13 through g18, done in a progressive completion manner like chapter 2).
  • Summon confirmation
  • Hero albums have been rearranged into smaller albums, and boosts for both hero and gear albums have been reset, so be sure to recollect those!


This is just a brief overview for now. I will be adding more as I explore more (some time after breakfast preferably lol).

Okay, so after some discussion with people in WC, it seems there are Mystery Men of all three classes with different crit skills. However, our GM on Jamel, Red.5171, said that the hunter and warrior Mystery Men will soon be converted into mages, as this was an error.

Yea, 6*s are expensive. It gets especially rough once your team consists of mostly 6*s. I relieved a small amount of the pressure by keeping Gopa, a 5*. Granted, after fist tier, even 5*s start requiring 6* stones, but at least my Jansen doesn't have to compete for War Horns.

Labyrinth is awesome. Even if you don't get a high enough score to get the chests at the end, it's still a great source of gold, and the other rewards are nice too.
